AW 71 L info

Hi all ! I wander if anyone has more info than me on the AW 71L transmission.I am familiar with the AW 71's but I wander if the AW 71L besides a lock up torque converter has the same or different gearing.I have the unit and would like to install it in one of my wagons instead of the regular AW 71 unit.Most people told me that the AW 71L does not exist although I have one sitting in my "lap".TIA
