intermittent 122 stumble 120-130

In the past couple of days, my 122 has begun to periodically stumble/hesitate while motoring down the highway. It happens most often on the highway when the OD is engaged & the RPMs are relatively low (approx 75 mph & 1600-2000 RPM? just a quess on the RPM, as I have no tach). It will momentarily stumble - just for a second & very rarely a couple of stumbles in a row. It happen probably 15-20 times in 350 miles of driving today. If I switch off the OD & the engine maintains higher RPMs, then it doesn't happen. But it did happen in 4th gear when going about 50 mph. It seems to be completely intermittent - I could not determine any pattern nor make it happen if I tried.

Other than that, everything seems to be working fine - consistent starting, good power, decent mpg (23 mpg while averaging 80 mph)

any thoughts as to what might be going on ??

thanks

tim
