AW-71 Transmission problems

stupid question, i know, but are you sure it wasn't in 3rd and thus your overdrive was out?

you're probably in 2nd but i just thought i'd ask because on my car, in 2nd at 55MPH it's around 5000-5500 which is close to 4500 i guess, but there are also 2 different differential gearings available. 3.73 and 4.10 i believe so that may account for the difference.
