Tach 200

Hey all,

Ok so just installed the big tach in place of the large clock and I think it works but couple things. Engine idles around 800-1000...I think this is normal or is it? Should the car be downshifting around 3000 rpms when not flooring it? Around 80mph, gauge reads about 3500 maybe a little more. Car is an automatic by the way and also just had my throttle cable adjusted. The tach has a black satin finish...does anyone know why or when Volvo switched to the duller finish as my other gauges aren't as "shiny."

Thanks,
-Adam
