Brakes in REALLY cold weather 700

Have an 85 740GLE. I live in NY just south of canada and when it gets REALLY cold, the power brakes fail - does anyone think that this happens just cause it's SOOOOO freaking cold in the morning?? i warm up the car for about 5 min. before i leave at like 6 am. when the power brakes go out, i can still stop by putting all my weight on the pedal - then after a minute or two (driving around the block) the power brakes return. the master cylinder and all lines were replaced in 2002. thanks for any help :)
