Third brake light for a 1984 245 - how to mount it? 200 1984

The wagon is new2me, and the harnesses through both cargo door hinges are shot. Thinking of an upgreade, I have acquired both new harnesses that fit 1986 and newer, and a 3rd brake light unit from a 1986+ 245.

Now the Q - how is the light attached to the cargo door? Just glued to the glass, like the sedan? Or is there some bracket on the door panel?

Yes, I know the BFWS relay won't handle the new light, so I'll just wire it into the brake light switch direct.

But - how is the light mounted?

Many thanks,

Bob
