Painting 200

My first post wasn't obvious enough. I am buying my fifth Volvo and I am in the Boston area, and it is a rare car and I do understand the problems that New England has with the 240 and rust (I've lost an '84 DL wagon to a rusty frame). This car is a rare car and the only reason I'm considering it is b/c it is a rare car. I want to save it from the rusts of New England. Does anyone have any advise on repainting Volvos and preventing rust b/c I have never had a car repainted. Any imput on repainting and rust prevention to preserve a rare police edition 240 turbo would be very helpful. thank you.
