CHAINS, gang? 200

Hello,

Am presently in snowiest region I've ever lived.

Am considering chains as emergency measure for rear end traction, I see farmers around here W/rear tractor wheels "chained" as they move snow.

I have 185/70(14") tires "all season", common, have never used tire chains in my life, car owner's manual says it's ok to use them.

Am out of loop on chains, some helpful advice? Seems like chained wheel/ body
clearance could be a prob.
