Headlamp question 200

Hi guys, I have a question about some of the xenon/hiper white HID bulbs available on ebay. Although the sellers list them under the volvo 240 title, some of the figures seem to suggest that they might not work. The bulbs are listed as being between 80w/100w and 90w/100w. The manual I have says the low beams on a 240 are 55w max and the high beams, 75w max. The size is correct (9004 i think??), but am I correct in assuming the bulbs won't work due? Thanks.
