Engine might have to come out, oil pan gasket replacement 200

I have not had any luck getting the temp sender piece out of the back
of the head on my car.

So I think removing the engine/tranny might be what happens.

Turns out that whoever rebuilt the engine in my car didnt put the drain hose back on correctly for the breather system. So the breather box does not seal completely to the block, most likely causing my oil leakage problem.

I have a pan gasket, are there any other sealants that should be used in accordance with this gasket?

The motor was rebuilt 15k miles ago, so I dont think there is much else I need to do.

This will give me a chance to replace some small things at the same time.

any other thoughts appreciated.
thanks
take care
