Just picked up a 245T (speaking of cheap bay area bricks) 200

Well actually a friend of mine who owed me about $200, picked it up and delivered it for me. $250 when all was said and done. It's the darker (but not navy) blue on (moldy, nearly rotted out) black. Now I've just gotta smog it. Anyone in Sonoma wanna register it for me? ;-)

Dang thing needs all manner of work done to it, but it sure runs. Purrs like a kitten. No leaky exhaust like my other. Amazingly light clutch too. I suppose she probably has the lighter flywheel.

I'm sure this car has an interesting history, I'll sure have to track down the original owner. She was diplomat ordered and has all sorts of interesting goodies describing the "IBS" (intercooler boost system), cruise control calibration, and the aftermarket moonroof that was installed. There's even most of the diplomat/tourist special order sticker in the back window and an oil temp gauge. The engine looks nice and leak free.. man oh man.. that's one huge cargo area. So this is what it's like to have a wagon.

So did anyone ever check out that other cheap craigslisted 240 Turbo? :)
