Head Light Switch Overheating/Burnout 200

I have a 1983 240 and have problems with headlight switch/wire overheating and failure. The original headlight switch failed and was replaced. A second headlight switch also failed and the switch and connector were replaced. The switch and wires/connector still overheat. Any suggestions on how to find the short?
