Scan Tech or ACD transfer pump? 200 1981

I'm pretty sure the FCPGroton and IPD in tank pumps are the same animal. When I was having pre pump issues a while back, the IPD guy told me that his pump was the same as the FCPgroton one. I think ACD might stand for AC/Delco because my pre pump (from FCP) had an AC logo on it. So did the one that came out of the car. I wasn't aware that Scan Tech made a pre pump.
