Rear suspension ? 240 200

I've got an 83 wagon with a lot of noise (clunks,rattles etc) coming from the back whenever I hit a bump or pot hole. At first I thought it must be the tailgate being loose but now think it might be a suspension problem. Is there anything I should be looking at in particular worn bushes or something? This is a great family car. Bricks build better homes! Advice appreciated.
