Would it possible to install an air filter on a 92-960? 900

Driving on the highway this cold weekend I could smell the road salt dust in the car. I have heard in the past that there is some link between road salt dust and lung cancer, similar link as in the mining industry. Plus all the other bad particulate stuff that is in the air around the four lane highways from the traffic. I spend enough time on the four laners that with the increased traffic this is becoming a concern. I have not taken the dash apart but someone who has may be able to answer this question. Would it be possible to install a heppa filter somewhere in a main duct? Make a cut out and slide a filter element in? Even if it is a pain to change every six months it would be worth it to me.

92-960, 200 000 km
