Scan Tech or ACD transfer pump? 200 1981

I'm very interested in all this because I'm trying to learn the brands that experienced Volvo people have found to be reliable and high quality. Any names come to mind? For example, I recently bought some tie rod ends that are Meyle and Febi/Bilstein. The only name I recognize is Bilstein which I've heard is a good name. Now as far as critical parts go, tie rods would be somewhere near the top of my list at 70 mph. These parts look good to me, but I can't tell how good the steel is. I personally would love to know the names I can count on. Then when I'm shopping around I'd have something to go on. After a couple more Volvos and a couple more years, I won't need to be asking these basic questions. Anyone with any input would be appreciated by me and probably lots of other new guys.
