Cause of coolant weep? 900

I notice that I have a tiny bit of coolant weeping from what appears to be the water pump gasket on my 93 945 NA. I find a bit of coolant on the block just below the head gasket on the block mostly on the drivers side of the block and where the first 2 cylinders are. The loss of coolant is not noticable and I only see it on occasion after the car has been driven and then sits in the extreme cold overnight. Since it appears to be in proximity to the pump, I'm thinking this is the pump seal or pump gasket. Of course worst case is a blown head gasket. But I'm not seeing any evidence of that(without real analysis anyway).Anyway, it is inconsistent. Sometimes you can see it with a MagLight, sometimes it is bone dry. A bit mysterious!
Any thoughts on what you all think the source of this weep is. The water pump was replaced by the PO between 25-40K. It now has 78K and I replaced the radiator with an all metal aftermarket at 72K.

Headgasket or waterpump gaket/seals?

Thanks!
