OIL Light and Start up? 700

Hello folks,

I have a 1989 740GL (B230F) using 5w30 dino oil + volvo filter. On cold starts (-12C), after sitting overnight, the oil light comes on for longer (2 to 3 Sec duration) than when it is warm out (1/2 Sec). Is this normal for a car with 285,000km on it? I know that there must be a little bit of leakdown but is it excessive (ie = to other problems)?
