Quick update 200 1984

In answer to a few questions. Yes, the carpets are still in the car. I think that the floor mats caught the brunt of the water.. and those are gone. I've proceded to dump in about 1/2 can of Lysol. Yes, I will pull the carpets (and vaccum all the damn chips out too.. Rita was littered with corn nuts, this wagon with corn chips.. do I sense a theme here?).. but I have no otherwise running Volvo (still need to smog the wagon, and fix the head on the sedan) and it's raining outside.

The (front) seats aren't really worth saving. The fronts are completely torn up, the rear is actually pretty decent.. and doesn't have too much mold. We'll see. The door panels and floor mats are long gone.

And damnit, one of the things I liked about the 240 wagons is that they didn't come with sunroofs. Boy, if I didn't pick the ONE wagon I've ever seen with an aftermarket moonroof... the remainder of the can of lysol will go in tonight, and if all goes well she'll be smogged and registered on Thursday (just in time to catch the new arrivals at the yards). And hey, that little field of mushrooms on the back floor mats has been taken care of too.
