You really should check your grounds. You may have lots of power in the battery but if the battery ground to the body is poor then you will never get that power to the starter motor. Removing the ground and then cleaning the contact points is what fixed the no cold start problem in my 87 745 GLE. Try it - it only takes a few minutes.
