1. Quite a while. I have gone out to the garage to check or measure
things and left the post up on the screen till the display went dormant
and brought it back OK. Nothing happens until you submit your post or
response. (If it takes days, maybe it would be better to formulate
the response offline and cut and paste it in when you are ready.)
2. It will go wherever the post is and the poster immediately above will be
notified by e-mail if he has signed in and checked the box requesting it.
3. Long time, although they are separated monthly. You can access previous
months.
4. Depends on how bad they are. The "Opinions" forum is the place for
most rants and other things not directly related to the specific Volvos
in a given forum. Blatant advertising and other objectionable content
may be removed. If you are a frequent contributor or financial supporter
you may have more latitude than someone who just "shows up" with a bag of
dirt. Normal irreverence is tolerated, filth is normally not. Reverence
has (thus far, in my experience) been tolerated also.
