rear bushings? time? 200

I agree with Eric-S,

don't rush to judgement on the bushings as cause of "clunk". You did not say how many miles are on the beast. I have done all bushings on a 91 240 sedan. the torque rod bushings and the panhard bushings are relatively easy..you don't have to support the axle etc...just remove the torque rod or the panhard rod and then press out the old and push in the new bushings...simple (recommend urethane replacement for the torque rods).

btw, $159 for rear bushings sounds kinda high..you can get the same stuff from FCP Groton for about one-half the price.
