'Foamy' differential fluid 900 1994

Hi all,

Just changing my rear differential fluid in my 1994 960 wagon and I noticed that a lot of foamy (almost spit bug like) stuff drained out. Fluid was full when I checked before removing the cover (I would imagine in a low fluid condition the gears might "whip" the fluid in the bottom causing the foam). In any case does anyone have any insight? I am trying to track down a vibration coming from the rear differential (determined this after putting the car on jack stands and having a friend run it while I listened in the rear). I am praying the fluid change will help. Everything inside looks clean and no excessive wobble in the parts (to be honest I wouldn't know what to look for anyway).

Thanks!
