240 Ignition in 122 - Module location? 120-130 1966

George;

Working on any car when its this cold in no fun, to be sure. I don't envy you. The slightest whack of the hand seems to hurt a lot more!

As Pete says, excessive temps are not good for the ignition module. If it is located in the 240 engine compartment originally, it can surely take the lower temps in a 122 engine comp., but if located in the pass. comp. you would be well advised to put it there again (like maybe up against the firewall, so the wires can sneak right through to where they need to go...don't forget the longer they are, the more radio interference probably).

Cheers
