welding a stud or Jbweld 200 1986

Regarding the alt tension bolt that connectes to the block. Well it broke after a 1000 miles of driving (again). I did have in with heli coil, but I guess it did not hold well.

I'm planning on putting a stud instead of the bolt. What's better, welding it in , which I've heard is very hard to weld to cast iron or using JBweld to hold it in?
