Engine Died, Won't Start 200 1979

My 1979, 242DL, (B21F engine) just died on the road. I pushed it back home and discovered it was neither of the fuel pumps (fuse #5 nor #7). It cranks fine but gives no hint of starting.

I have a good spark. The Fuel Pump works and fuel flows out of the firewall fuel filter when disconnected and cranked. Fuel injectors are dry, however -- I cranked the engine for 10 seconds and not a drop came out of either of them.

Could it be the Fuel Distributor? Is it fixable or do I have to replace the entire part AND the Air Flow Sensor AND the Fuel Pressure Regulator, as it appears to be integrated? Is it overwhelmingly difficult to do? Like say, a new blower motor assembly under the dash board?

I'm not ruling out the Main Fuel Pump, as it could be delivering low pressure. It is only 4 years old, but is an AC/Delco knock-off of a genuine Bosch pump. I don't have a pressure gauge to check it, my next step is to buy one at Checkers and to see if I'm getting the required 70 psi from the pump and 53 psi from the Pressure Regulator.

Can you think of anything which might help, please?

Thank you very, very much,

Tim
