Update on Oil Leak/Head gasket 900 1992

Thanks to those who responded to my recent post on my head gasket problem on my 92 960 wagon. I was looking over 11 years of maitinance records last night and was reminded that my engine was replaced 5 years ago because the engine block was cracked (at less than 50k miles) At that time, my dealer paid for new engine and parts and I paid for labor. So now I need a new head gasket on a 5 year old engine with 40K miles on it!
I have owned Volvos since 1974 and, in spite of the fact that I love my big boxy wagon, I'm done with Volvo. I will be fixing the head gasket to give me time to look for a new car this year--probably a Honda, Toyota, or Nissan. I'll be trading in my Volvo. (sob) I hope that there is as good a website as this one for whatever car I get.
Emma
