Clunk redux 140-160 1973

There are a LOT of rubber bushings back there, all of which give out
in time, and any of which will make a "clunk". The biggest suspect would
probably be the rubber housing around the driveshaft center bearing.
A lump on a tire or a bent wheel will also sometimes do things like that.
