Exaust bracket - how to remove 700 1985

It looks like I have a broken bracket which attaches to the exhaust down pipe between the manifold and cat. It's hard to see in that area because of the turbo and preheat stuff. How does the bracket attach to the engine? I felt up there and got the nut off. Does the bolt come out or is it fixed to the engine?
Is it hard to get off ?
