THanks for all the feedback. I can see now that this basket is good, so long as you are not too feisty with the gear-shift, or know a good dry-cleaning firm for all that spilt coffee.

I know of places in the UK who can fit the rear demister. I believe that it comes all together, so you get new glass as well, and hense isn't cheap. But, boy, to be able to see out of the back window on 'days like these'.

Please tell us the stages so far in your anti-noise mission. I would think that we are all on this mission to a greater or lesser extent. Mine is hampered by water leaking into the cabin after rain-storms (which makes carpet impractical). However possibly some anti-rot felting might calm the reverb. My biggest problem is wind-noise on the passenger side. Did you deal with that one?
