'check engine' lite 200 1993

Check the FAQ for how to read and properly reset the light. Its kinda cool to be able to do this in your own driveway. Those with "fancier" computers have to pull the plug or drive to a dealer and plunk down the doh! (pun intended)

That light can be nothing or something you really need to address. Check it and bring the question back here. My experience with the board is that people respond in greater detail if you do your homework first. I.e. read the FAQ.

The Diagnostic Trouble Code is what you're looking for. Easy as pie to get the code and read it. You may need to research what engine/Fuel injection sys you have to determine the code, but folks should be able to help if you ask.

Good Luck
