Battery problem 700 1987

Wayne, I have owned 4 Volvo's"
1 x 1989 740 GL
3 x 940

They all at a certain moment in time had a flat battery after sitting idle for a least a couple of days.
In my case it was always the auxilarylight in the trunk (boot in UK)
The switch in the trunklid sticks every once in a while.
The small switch is part of the trunklock and not easily accessable.
The aux.light has a switch of it's own though, Switch it off and your problem might be over.
Just switch it back on when you need it.

John
