where is my vin # 120-130 1966

The body number is similar to the serial number (last part of VIN)
but normally different from it. Not sure why.
The true serial number (VIN) is stamped into the firewall just below
the top in the format 22244VF*44489 where the digits before the
star are the model and type designation and the numbers after are the
chassis serial number. From the above you can see that mine is a
wagon (222) and it was one of the later ones of the 1966 model year
(which ended with 44599)
