Trunk Carper Removal 700 1991

Good Morning Bricksters.

It is rainy, cold, and miserable repair weather here in central Virginia. I have a trunk leak that I have narrowed down the the tail lights. I shall assume the problem is a deteriorating gasket. I don't really feel like pulling the lights apart in this weather, so I was wondering how dificult it is to remove the trunk carpet to prevent mold until the weather clears.
