Beware of the 100,000 mile timing belt 900 1995

The timing belt on my new 1995 945 Turbo is supposed to last to 100,000 miles. At 97,100 miles it broke yesterday costing me $307 for the tow and repair. If you have one that says change it at 100,000 miles, I would advise changing it early. When this car hits 150,000 miles I will change the timing belt even if it is a 100,000 mile belt. Don't believe the 100,000 mile rating.

If anyone is interested, I have a 1990 740 and a 1991 945T for sale. Gotta pay for the new 1995. Email me off the lists: lramseur@carolina.rr.com
