Get used to it! 700 1988

Andrew, great pics and beautiful cars! Mine looks just like your 745. Roof rack and everything. But, I'm missing the foglights and my airdam is drooping on the sides. I've posted asking how the sides are supported and apparantly I'm missing a couple of side brackets. Odd thing is though, at the dealership today after ordering an OD cover gasket I asked to look at the parts breakout for the air dam and we couldn't find anything like I'm describing. Have to keep looking or fabricate something myself.

I have a couple of very small dents in the hood and to the rear of the right rear wheel I'll have a friend take care of in her body shop. Other than that, I need the rear trim piece that goes under the bumper and I'm done with the cosmetics.

In the two weeks I've owned it I've replaced all four headlights, the splash shield under the engine, and replaced a missing rivet on the cat's heat shield. That's it. Tomorrow I have the day to myself so I'm changing the trans oil, pulling the wheels to check pads, securing the passenger door moulding and if time permits, pull the carpet back and look for a water leak that's soaking the left rear passenger footwell.

We'll be buying a digital camera soon as my SLR died last week and I'll have pics then.

Thanks for the pics, those are sharp!

Regards,
