I'm trying to rebuild a Garrett off what I think is an '88 740. I ordered a center catridge for a '82 240 but it's not right. Can someone who remembers what their center cartridge looks like take a look at these pictures? The cart I'm trying to replace has an O-ring around the intake housing seal and the one they sent has a step in it but no O-ring. The turbo shop says my center cartdridge looks like one off a Buick Grand National? Has anyone seen this O-ring in their turbo?
