Plastic radiator 200

I own a 1985 240 DL which I bought new.It has approximately 134,000 miles on it. I decided to change out the water pump today and noticed when taking the radiator out that it had the plastic side tanks. I don't remember replacing the radiator but didn't think Volvo put plastic radiators in 240s in 1985. It says Blackstone on it so I assume that is the manufacturer.

The radiator looks great and the plastic neck shows no wear. I am amazed that it has held up so long as I hear about 100k is all that can be expected from the plastic. I'm tempted to put it back in and see how long it will last. Do the radiators usually have a massive failure at the neck or does it start out with a slow leak etc? I know it's foolish not to replace it but I'm curious how long it will last and this car is mainly our short distance, around town vehicle.
