Smashed door - replace or fix, and how much $ from ins co? 200 1983

Howdy. Last Tuesday my neighbor pulled out of her driveway too fast and hit my beloved brick ('83 240 DL) which was parked on the side of the road. The left rear door is smashed in pretty good (sorry, no pics yet). A couple questions:

Any idea whether this can be fixed, or has to be replaced? I guess this is probably impossible to determine without pictures. the dent is a couple of inches deep, maybe 12-16 inches wide, with the paint scraped off. I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow.

My biggest concern is that my neighbors insurance company (state farm; I don't have collision on it) will say that the car is worth $200, and that they won't give me a dime more. How much (and how hard) is it to replace to door with one from a parts yard? Anyone else with experience on insurance adjustments for these old cars?

Thanks,

Brian
