Tap it around the perimeter of the collar where it goes over the distributor shaft. You can give it a few sharp raps (don't nail it TOO hard though to avoid messing up the distributor).

Usually they pull off after a while. Put a little bit of grease on the keyway when you put the new one in. It helps to keep it from sticking next time.
