95 960 Gear Position Sensor - Is it there? 900 1995

My dealer says that he thinks?!? my car needs a new gear position sensor. My manual (chiltons) says that only the 850's have one. Does anyone know for sure if the 95 960 has a gear position sensor?

He is reading the code (313) from the little white sensor connector under the hood. It is next to the black sensor connector which reads the ECM codes. That brings up another question. What is that white code connector for? He says it is for the transmission computer. Again, I did not think the 960 had a transmission computer?!? Is the white connector for the ABS system?

Thanks
