Need a tip on pulling the fuse/relay panel out. 700 1988


There are clips that hold the relay panel/bucket in place on one side, and it kind of levers in (if I remember correctly). Just push the clips back and lever it slightly to get it up, then twist it slightly to pull it out the front.

Note that if you are actually pulling the relay board it is a LOT easier if you just go ahead and remove the stereo and stereo shelf at teh same time (one screw (top dead center in the back). Just pull the stereo out out of teh shelf/sleeve, put it aside, undo teh screw that holds the shelf, slide teh shelf out, slide teh shelf down around the stereo (out) and push it to one side of the console (make sure it is supported so it doesn't fall and strain wiring).
