Follow-up to won't start, interesting development 200

Hi..

I posted a note about cutting out and having later, while my Brick was aboard a flatbed being hauled off to the doctor's office, found a weird wire with what looked like a horn on it hanging down under my chassis.

The Doctor called today. He has not looked at my Flying Turd yet, but did find the wire and pronounced it some kind of jury-rigged testing wire the prior shop put on it in an apparent attempt to figure out if the fuel tank was receiving power. The plastic thing hanging down was some sort of alarm.

And the Doctor said to me: "If you LIKE these guys, just take it back to them."

After a $70 3-mile tow and three days of them hemming and hawing, I say "Naaah."
