Gas mileage drop off

A couple months ago I had the belts (including t-belt) and front seals replaced on my 92 940t. Prior to the work the car was getting about 18-20 mpg during rural driving. Since then, it seems to have dropped a good bit. perhaps three or four mpg. Any ideas on what might have happened? Perhaps the timing wasn't set right? Any input would be helpful.
