The service lt is just a reminder to change oil etc. You should have a small button on the lower right of your instrument cluster. Turn key on and push button. The check engine light usually means there is a code to check in the obd. You can wait for the book or check the faq for the codes which is only for the lh jet 2.4. You may have that or the 3.1.
