Strut Retaining Nut 200 1990

Consider yourself lucky in sense that there are enough 240 cars going to the crusher these days that replacement struts go pretty cheap. I saw a nice one go begging at no reserve on eBay a month ago. In the early 90s, when the non-galvanized struts that came on pre-85 cars needed replacement, the recycling yards got premium prices - if they had any decent ones available at. At that time, I had to buy one from a dealer for $300+. Now you can get an entire 240 for that price. If I were you, I'd go to the boneyard, & look for a car that's been hit in the rear...
