Help - 760 sometimes wont start when Hot 700

When cold, car starts first time. when hot and left for 5 minutes, car wont start for the next 10 mins. thereafter it starts. Sometimes i have been able to get it to start by wiggling key. when it does not start i do not hear the solenoid click. what happens is that the lights dim, but there is no turning of the motor or clicking.
I have tried to start in neutral, i case it had something to with the auto park, but it ,makes no difference

I have replaced: RF Relays, FP relay and ignition switch.
What confuses me is that it seems to be heat related so i am not so sure that the ignition lock cylinder is worn.

Am i right? any suggestions?
many thanks
