Exhaust smell in cabin after hard acceleration 900

92 740\940 with the b230ft and 144,000 miles on the clock. After accelerating hard, eg. getting on the highway, the inside of the car fills with an exhaust smell. After a few moments, the smell goes away. This also occurs traveling at speeds above 80 mph.I am thinking this has to do with the Heater\AC system and a faulty vacuum motor or check valve. Has anybody else had experience with this situation, or can anyone help narrow the search for a cause.

Thanks
