Don't recall if your original post said door lock or ignition lock. But - I bet both locks are the same as on a 740 car or maybe a 940, and are available in a recycle yard. Add that price to the cost of having a locksmith re-key the lock to your present key (which is tied to your VIN) and see if the timing and money work out better.
