I'd ignore it.

The best you can do is put high detergent oil in and hope to
clear up some stuck rings. That might also clear up gunk other
places and give you a leaky smokey mess of a motor.

I'd suspect that you have a vacuum leak somewhere. THe plugs
should not be chalky at all. Get out your favorite spray thingy
of either water or explosive and spray away.

If you want to richen up the mixture a little I think there
are articles on futzing with the coolant temp sensor so that
it thinks the motor is always a little cold (so it always runs
a little rich). Running richer will give you better power even
on a tired motor and if your plugs are chalky then it is likely
that you need a wee bit more fuel. Or, a wee bit less air.chris
